History

Calutech Mobile Solutions, Inc. was formed in late-2001 by a group of five people experienced in the design, production, sales, and service of specialized mobile units for the healthcare, television production, and display/promotion markets. Our original business plan was intended to offer products to these markets, superior in quality to those available at the time. Our initial goal: To establish Calutech as the premier producer of medical imaging units by offering superior design, better interior finish, and a broad two-year warranty. And that original goal has not been forgotten.

Today, Calutech has received approval from Siemens Medical Solutions Worldwide and Philips Medical Systems for the installation of their imaging systems in Calutech mobile units. In fact, since our inception, Calutech has provided units to customers supporting MRI, PET, PET/CT, SPECT, and Lithotripter systems, in both trailer and self-propelled configurations.

Located in Hammond, in Northwest Indiana, Calutech operates from a 36,000 square foot facility adjacent to Interstate 80/94. From this comprehensive facility, we are able to provide services related to mobile unit custom design, field service and repair, and existing system upgrades.
